With multiple payment options available including credit card, PayPal, and Apple Pay, purchasing tickets is a seamless process. Once purchased, your tickets are immediately activated and ready for use.

For your convenience, we provide answers to common questions:

• Q: Do I need to be connected to the internet?
  A: Ticket purchases require a cellular network or wireless connection. However, you can activate and use tickets offline.
• Q: How quickly are ticket purchases processed?
  A: Once the payment is authorized, your purchase is processed immediately and your ticket is then available for immediate activation.
• Q: Can I purchase multiple fares at the same time?
  A: You can purchase and activate multiple tickets for multiple passengers. Up to 30 tickets may be purchased at one time. You can purchase up to $50 in tickets per day.
• Q: How long are tickets valid?
  A: Individual bus or rail tickets can be saved and used for up to 2 years from the original purchase date.
• Q: How can I plan a trip?
  A: The METRO Q Ticketing app contains a link to our METRO TRIP app, providing routes, schedules, and real-time arrival information to help you efficiently plan your journey.
• Q: What if my battery dies?
  A: It is necessary to have an activated ticket. You may be asked to show your ticket to either a bus operator (prior to boarding a bus) or a fare inspector (prior to boarding METRORail).
